About This Site

The purpose of this site is to chronicle my attempts, as misguided as they might turn out to be, to become a writer. What it may in fact turn into is a train wreck of mediocrity and disappointment. But people love train wrecks! Even the victims probably give an appreciative smile as they burn to death.

It’s pretentiouswriter because I think most blogs generally are pretentious and their writers usually have an over-inflated sense of their own self-worth. And this site clearly reeks of that. Ah, but do I get away with this because I know it? No, my own sense of irony will not help me here. This site is a pretentious self-indulgent waste of everyone involved’s time and will always be so. So there.
